My Lent Project: Day 39
Instead of giving UP something for Lent, I’m giving THANKS for the many blessings of life. Here’s what I’m feeling incredibly thankful for today . . .
Palm Sunday.
Worship music.
People who can sing.
So much green in the backyard.
The generosity of others.
When things work.
Their appetites in the morning.
Pike's Nursery.
Picking out spring and summer flowers.
Playing in the dirt.
Gardening gloves.
Watering cans.
Petunias, lantana, begonias, geraniums, impatiens!
Sweet neighbors.
Little girls with braids.
Tony Horton's Base and Back workout.
Running into friends.
Riverside Pizza.
A Bulldog wearing the green jacket . . . again!
Emotion.
Jesus, who entered Jerusalem on a donkey, while the crowd waved palm branches and shouted, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"
